GENERAL CONDITIONS
Terms and conditions:
INDALO SPACE SA offers flights only, accommodations, transfers, rental cars and other related activities with regards to destinations that we offer.
In general, the cost of vaccinations, visas and drinks, entrance to museums and monuments, are never included in the price.
Airlines are likely to raise prices (especially in case of rise in fuel prices). These will be reflected on your bill as long as the tickets were not issued. Changes may intervene in the exchange rates as well. We therefore reserve the rights to increase our rates if needed. If the increase is over 10% of the agreed price, you can terminate your contract within 5 days.
LIABILITY
INDALO SPACE SA acting as tour operator is led to choose different service providers: - carriers, hoteliers ... to carry out its programs.
INDALO SPACE SA carefully selects its suppliers and local agents and will do everything to give full satisfaction to its customers.
INDALO SPACE SA cannot, however, answer in case of fault or negligence caused by its agents and cannot also be held responsible in case of serious misconduct of its subsidiaries.
Regarding air transport, aircraft that we use offer every guarantee of comfort and security. Rotations of flights and security requirements, which take precedence above all, can sometimes cause some delays during heavy traffic. The delay should not lead to any damage or compensation from INDALO SPACE SA. However, under the law of passenger aircraft, it is imperative to contact the company and get at least a testimonial. Airline tickets will be submitted to CGCV of the airline companies involved.
In case of failure of a service during the tour or stay, or for compelling reasons, we would be obliged to cancel all or part of our anticipated commitments and we would do our best to replace them by equivalent services. In case of no possible alternatives, we will refund in full the amounts corresponding to the undelivered services.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you are complying with police formalities, customs and health requirements for your trip. We give, as per our policy, information on visa and immunization requirements for each country, but the formalities may change, and in any case remain your responsibility. A passenger who failed to produce any required documents such as (passport, visa, vaccination certificate,) and has been refused on board will not be entitled to make any claim. For car rentals, a credit card is required for a security deposit in the destination.
Claims
If the services provided do not match the catalogue description or offer, or if there is one major flaw, you are required to contact, without delay, your travel guide or service provider in question ( hotel or other), asking him/her to solve the problem. If your request cannot be fulfilled to your satisfaction, you should request a written document from the tour director or service provider in question, confirming the contents of your claim. This is a prerequisite for your claim compensation. Any claim relating to a trip should be addressed to SA SPACE INDALO by registered mail with the requested documents attachments, up to two weeks after the date of return.
INSURANCE:
No insurance is included in our prices; this is to avoid any double insurance. Indeed, many people are already insured by various type of insurance. However, we are at your disposal for any question, additional information or sale of insurance services relating thereto.
Insurance policies are governed by the insurance certificate of the insured.
REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT:
Your registration comes into effect from the moment you give your consent, by phone, fax, in writing or orally at the agency. We are not responsible for any error on the names communicated to us. Within 5 days of your registration, you must send us a down payment of 30% of the total travel cost unless special conditions are stated on your invoice. However if you register less than a month before departure, you will have to pay the full amount as mentioned in your invoice. You must settle your account 30 days before departure without a reminder from us.
MODIFICATIONS:
Up to 30 days before departure you can apply in writing to change your registration (or dates of travel). Unless otherwise stated on the invoice, you will be charged CHF 80. for any modification application - Per person, except for children who are registered on the same travel registration document, or when it is due to an additional service required for the same destination. Less than 30 days before departure, a modification is considered as a cancellation and is followed by a new registration, except where agreed by INDALO SPACE SA. Any trip cut short or/and any service not used by the traveler, cannot give rise to any refund. The insufficient number of participants may lead to cancellation, provided that the customer is informed at latest 21 days before the scheduled departure.
CANCELLATIONS:
Cancellations must be received by registered mail. If your cancellation request reached us more than 30 days before your departure, and for whatever reasons, you will be charged an amount of CHF 100 .- per person unless special conditions have been stated in your invoice. If you have applied for insurance with us, the non-refundable premium will also be deducted from your account or claim
If your cancellation is received within 30 days of departure:
- Charter flights: 100% in all cases. –
- Flights only (excluding charters): as from 350. - Per ticket and according to airfare conditions. –
- Flights, tours, vacations, car rentals:
- from 30 to 21 days 25% of the travel package cost
- from 20 to 8 days 50% of the travel package cost
- from 7 to 4 days 80% of the travel package cost
- less than 4 days 100% of the travel package cost
If the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) does not recommend a particular destination, we may be required to cancel the trip. Under such circumstances, we will offer you other alternatives or a full refund of amount paid.
PRICES
Our prices are valid for payment in cash, a payment deposit voucher, by Postcard or Maestro card. An increase of 2% commission charges will be claimed for payment effected by credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express).
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS:
The instructions for the trip, date, time, appointments, flight number, etc.., Will be provided to you before your departure. Tickets are delivered to our office or they will be sent as per our agreement.
Warning: for some trips, dates of departure and return are subject to changes if the transport conditions require. We reserve the right to modify them (48 hours maximum). You would be notified accordingly.
JURISDICTION
The jurisdiction is exclusively in Fribourg (Switzerland)
APPLICABLE LAW:
Only Swiss law is applicable
Registration to one of our trips or package means you have agreed with our terms and conditions.
Only the general conditions in the French version are binding and non-negotiable.
